The public of the country is frustrated with the BJP’s anti-people policies and rhetoric. This direct impact is being seen during the Lok Sabha election campaign, where BJP candidates are being confronted with black flags and slogans. Not only this, it has become difficult for BJP candidates to enter constituencies within various states.

Sanjay Awasthi, Pradesh Congress Executive President, launched a scathing attack on the BJP, stating that the consequences of the instability created by PM Modi in the country over the past 10 years are now being borne by BJP candidates today.

Awasthi said that under BJP rule in the past decade, the country has witnessed inflation, unemployment, hunger, and atrocities against women, leading India to deteriorate in global rankings. Not only has India’s image suffered under PM Modi’s rule, but neighboring countries like China, Pakistan, Nepal, Bhutan, and Canada are also raising eyebrows. He said that due to Modi’s anti-people policies, LPG gas, which was available for Rs. 400 in 2014, is now being sold at Rs. 1000, diesel and petrol prices have crossed Rs. 100, the dollar is priced at Rs. 83, and India ranks 111th in the hunger index and 128th in women’s safety, while press freedom has fallen to 161st rank. This indicates that democracy in India is in danger, for which PM Modi and his arrogant ministers are responsible.

Awasthi said that even after ten years of rule, the BJP has no issues today and is resorting to rhetoric about 2047 without any substance. He said that today the condition of the BJP has become such that neither do they have any issues left nor are they able to mislead the public. Today, the anger of the people towards the BJP is evident as BJP candidate Kangana Ranaut had to face opposition from the people with black flags and slogans in Lahaul Spiti. Similarly, BJP candidates in Haryana are also facing opposition from the people. He said that on one hand, BJP candidates are facing opposition from the people, while on the other hand, Congress candidates are being supported due to the positive impact of the working system of the Congress government under CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukkhu. He said that under his leadership, the state government has put several welfare schemes on track within a short span of 15 months, benefiting all sections of the state. Due to this, the people of the state are openly supporting Congress candidates.
