Winner to Receive ₹9 Lakh
Shimla, February 15: Registrations for Season 3 of the Pro Himachal Premium Cricket League (Pro HPCL), Himachal Pradesh’s biggest cricket tournament, have officially begun. This edition will be exclusively for Himachali players, making it a special ‘Himachali Edition.’
Last year, over 750 players registered, and organizers expect even more participation this season. The winner will receive ₹9 lakh, while the runner-up will get ₹4 lakh. The total prize pool for Pro HPCL Season 3 is ₹40 lakh.
The registration fee is ₹650, and interested players must register at www.prohpcl.com before February 25. After registration, trials will be conducted, followed by an auction where franchises will bid for players.
Co-founder Veenu Diwan highlighted that Pro HPCL is a golden opportunity for Himachal’s youth. Co-founder Ajay Thakur added that this season’s matches will be played at a state-of-the-art cricket ground under construction in Shimla, featuring day-night matches.
