Preparation to change color of uniform of students in government schools
1 min readPreparations have started to change the color of the uniform of the students studying in government schools of Himachal Pradesh. The education department has started brainstorming in this regard. Now instead of the checkered colored uniform, only one or two colored uniforms will be given to the students. From this year, instead of clothes, the government will give Rs 600 in the bank account to 5.25 lakh students. Only the students of classes I to VIII will be given money for the purchase of uniforms. The students of classes IX to XII will have to buy their own uniforms.
The previous government had started giving smart uniforms to students on the lines of private schools in the state. Instead of giving uniforms, the state government has now announced to buy the uniforms itself by giving Rs 600 in the bank accounts of the mothers of the students. If this system is implemented, the uniformity of uniform in different schools of the state may end. For this, the departmental officers have prepared a proposal to introduce only one or two color uniforms in government schools. So that students in urban and rural areas can easily get same color clothes for uniform. On the other hand, under the new system, the name of the free uniform scheme can also be changed in the state
