P.O.W.E.R. RUN 2k25 Marathon to Raise Funds for Disaster Victims in Himachal

Shimla, Sept 22 – The Palace of Words is set to host the P.O.W.E.R. RUN 2k25 on 28th September, 2025 at the Mall Road, Shimla, under the motto “Save The Himalayas”. The marathon aims to raise funds for victims of recent cloudbursts and landslides in Himachal Pradesh.

The event will be conducted in two volumes – short races (3 km, 10 km, 21 km) on 28th September, followed by the P.O.W.E.R. RUN Ultra 2k25, featuring distances of 22.5 km, 55 km, 75 km, and 111 km, with the venue to be announced on the same day.

Organized with the support of SJVNL, A.G. Office, and HPU Department of Physical Education, and affiliated with Decathlon, the marathon is expected to witness enthusiastic participation from runners across the state and beyond. The event will begin at 7:00 AM from the Ridge.
