Over 36,000 Voters to Exercise Franchise in Dharampur Block Panchayat Elections: DC Solan

Solan, May 22: District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner Solan Manmohan Sharma said that a total of 36,869 voters will exercise their franchise in the Panchayati Raj Institutions Elections 2026 across 26 gram panchayats of Dharampur development block.
According to the official data, the electorate includes 18,927 male voters and 17,942 female voters.
The Deputy Commissioner informed that Gram Panchayat Dharampur has the highest number of voters with 3,539 electors, including 1,779 men and 1,760 women. Kasuali Garhkhal Gram Panchayat has 2,267 voters, while Jangeshu has 1,869 voters.
He said detailed voter statistics have been prepared for all gram panchayats under the development block to ensure smooth conduct of elections and effective management of polling arrangements.
Manmohan Sharma further stated that as per the schedule issued by the State Election Commission, polling for the Panchayati Raj elections will be held on May 26, 28 and 30, 2026 from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
The district administration has appealed to all eligible voters to actively participate in the democratic process and exercise their right to vote peacefully and responsibly.
