Outstanding Performance by B.A.LL.B (Hons) Students at LR Institute of Legal Studies

LR Institute of Legal Studies, Solan, is one of the leading institutions in the field of legal education, proudly holding the distinction of being the first law college in Himachal Pradesh. The institution was established during the year 2004, initiating the 5-year B.A.LL.B (Hons) program in Solan. Since its inception, the department has been providing quality legal education to its students, who are now working as judges, assistant district attorneys, legal officers in government departments, corporations, PSU’s, administrative officers, and corporate professionals.

Apart from the above, eminent lawyers and professors are the greatest strength of this law department. The legacy of the institution’s students reveals that they have secured top positions and received gold medals in the examinations of Himachal Pradesh University.

During the academic session 2023-24, once again students of the law department have secured rankings in the top 10 positions in the examinations of Himachal Pradesh University.

LrIn the first semester, Kumari Kritika Sharma and Kumari Malika secured the fifth and sixth positions, respectively, in Himachal Pradesh University. In the third semester, Kumari Babita and Kumari Aakriti secured the third and sixth positions, respectively. In the seventh semester, Kumari Siya secured the seventh position.

The result of the law department reflects the hard work of both their teachers and students. Students have expressed their satisfaction with the department’s academic atmosphere and the active role and support of their teachers in their studies. Students have expressed their happiness with the result and credited their teachers for it. Teachers also appeared pleased with the outcome. On this occasion, the management praised the hard work, dedication, and commitment of the faculty of the law department. The management congratulated the meritorious students and teachers for this outstanding performance.
