The Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board has cancelled the previous tenders worth ₹362 crore for the 66kV Pooh-Kaza transmission line project due to impractical cost estimates and lack of qualified bids. A high-level committee has been formed to revise the tender documents, taking into account the difficult terrain and realistic market rates. The project is part of the RDSS scheme with 90% central funding. BJP has raised concerns over assigning responsibility to an official under investigation.
