Nepal Floods: Hamirpur Administration Seeks Details of Travellers Out of Contact
Hamirpur, August 27, 2026: Following the severe floods in Nepal, Hamirpur Additional Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Garg has directed SDMs, tehsildars, BDOs and other officials to immediately report details of local residents who travelled to Nepal and are currently unreachable.
The information has been sought by the Home Department to help trace the location of travellers and facilitate contact with them.
The administration has also urged families to promptly inform their concerned SDM, tehsildar or BDO if any relative travelling in Nepal cannot be contacted.
