Solan, April 7: LR Group of Institutes, Solan, managed by LLR Educational Trust, successfully organized a national conference on “National Education Policy 2020: Empowering Educators, Inspiring Change.” The conference aimed to explore the transformative vision of NEP 2020 and discuss innovative strategies to make education more inclusive, practical, and future-ready.
The event brought together academicians, educators, researchers, and students, providing a vibrant platform for exchanging ideas and perspectives aligned with the goals of NEP 2020.
Vice Chancellor of Himachal Pradesh University, Prof. Mahavir Singh, attended as the chief guest and highlighted the importance of innovation, quality education, and skill development in today’s academic landscape.
Key speakers included Prof. Kulwinder Singh (Retd.), former Head of Education & Community Service, Punjabi University Patiala; Prof. Kulbhushan Chandel, Department of Commerce, HPU Shimla; Prof. Joginder Singh Dhiman, Dean (Planning), HPU Shimla; and Prof. (Dr.) Ritika Sharma from CDOE, HPU. They shared valuable insights on effective implementation of NEP 2020 and emphasized a student-centric, skill-based, and holistic approach to education.
LR Group Managing Director Shachi Singh stated that NEP 2020 is not just a policy but a transformative step toward redefining education. She reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to delivering quality, innovative, and value-based learning aligned with its vision—Dream, Believe, Achieve.
