Missing Man Found Hanging from Tree in Dehra Village

Dehra, Sept 12: The body of a 33-year-old man, who went missing two days ago from Baba Panja village under Dohag Dehria Panchayat, was found hanging from a tree near a rivulet. Police said the preliminary investigation points towards suicide. A case has been registered under Section 194 BNS, and further inquiry is underway.
The deceased was identified as Yusufdin, son of Karmdin, a resident of Baba Panja. SP Dehra, Mayank Chaudhary, informed that the post-mortem will be conducted at Dehra Hospital before handing over the body to the family.
According to the police, the man had left home saying he was going for a haircut but never returned. His family lodged a missing complaint at Jwalamukhi police station, after which search operations were launched with the help of locals and a dog squad. Two days later, he was found dead.
The deceased worked in a tour and travel company in Dharamshala and is survived by his wife, a 6-year-old son, and a 4-year-old daughter. Police are investigating the circumstances that led to the incident.
