Mandi District Reports Highest Covid Active Cases In State

Shimla, Sep 28 – With the number of fresh Covid 19 cases in the state detected and at least 14 fresh cases testing positive on Wednesday for the lethal novel Corona in one day, the Himachal Pradesh state caseload rose to 312174.
The fresh cases included the highest four from Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh.

Spokesman of the Health Department told UNI that all the 14 fresh cases who have tested positive today have been isolated as per the protocol.

The spokesman said Wednesday there was no Covid death reported from any part of this hill state thus the death toll remained stagnant at 4189.

He said the number of active cases has further gone down to 166 on Monday which included 36 from Kangra, 46 from Mandi, 20 from Shimla, 8 from Hamirpur, Bilaspur 22, 12 from Kullu and the remaining are from other six districts of this hill state.

The sources told UNI that there were two recoveries Wednesday in the state, thus keeping the number of recovered patients at 307798. He said 1810 samples were collected Wednesday.
He said today two persons were admitted to a hospital in this hill state taking the number of admissions to six.
