Man Arrested for Rape and Threatening Victim in Nalagarh

Solan, Feb 24 – A man accused of raping a woman under a false identity and forcing her to undergo an abortion has been arrested from Chandigarh and sent to three-day police remand. The victim also alleged that the accused and his accomplices threatened her at gunpoint and attempted to run her over with a vehicle.
The Baddi Police Special Investigation Unit (SIU) tracked Ishaq Ali alias Ishu and arrested him on Saturday. Additional charges of assault and criminal intimidation have been registered. Further investigation is underway.
