Large Quantity of Intoxicating Capsules Seized in Una

In the Gagret area of Una district, a substantial quantity of intoxicating capsules was seized late on Thursday night from a vehicle. The police have apprehended two suspects in this case. Upon counting the capsules, their number was found to be approximately 28,560. The identified suspects in this case are vehicle driver Maan Singh, residing in Ward-6 Gagret Tehsil Ghumarwin, Una, and Mahashu alias Himanshu, residing in the village of Barnada, Tehsil Nurpur, Kangra. The police are investigating how and from where the accused individuals obtained such a large quantity of intoxicating capsules and where they were intending to take them.

In another incident, during a police raid, the Amb police station personnel apprehended an individual in possession of 11 bottles of country-made liquor. The identified suspect in this case is Satish Kumar, residing in Kailash Nagar, Tehsil Ghumarwin, District Una. Superintendent of Police Una, Arjit Sen Thakur, stated that an investigation into the case is underway. He mentioned that the police are taking continuous action against drug trafficking and are conducting rigorous interrogations with the accused individuals in possession of intoxicating capsules.
