L.R. Group Shines at Matrushakti Event with Focus on Nutrition

The “Matrishakti Abhinandan Samaroh” was joyfully organized at Ambedkar Bhawan, Arki (Solan) to honor women on the occasion of Mother’s Day. The event was hosted by Shri Tanay Kanwar (Block Development Officer, Kunihar) and graced by Chief Guest Shri Sanjay Awasthi (Hon’ble MLA) and Special Guest Dr. Rachna Gupta (former HPPSC member and senior journalist).

A unique aspect of the program was the freedom given to women to participate based on their interests—many brought their favorite dishes, while others performed dance or nati.

From the L.R. Group of Hotel Management & Catering Technology, Varsha and Shailee Mokta delivered an impactful and informative session on the theme *”Tradition of Nutrition”*. They highlighted the importance of balanced diets and the rich nutritional value found in traditional cuisine.

A panel of judges assessed the quality, authenticity, and nutritional aspects of the dishes presented. The jury included Aruna Gupta (Food Blogger, Aruna’s Himachali Kitchen), Vikas Rana (Asst. Professor), Bhavna Kanwar (Asst. Professor), and Karishma Sharma (Digital Marketing Executive).

The event reflected L.R. Group’s commitment not just to academic excellence but also to social and cultural engagement.
