Keekli Charitable Trust Launches Pan-India Short Story Writing Competition for Young Writers

January 1, 2024

In the wise words of Stephen King, “The scariest moment is always just before you start,” and Keekli Charitable Trust echoes this sentiment by inviting young writers under the age of 25, specifically school and college students, to participate in a nationwide Short Story Writing Competition. As the calendar turns to 2024, this initiative aims to encourage budding writers to overcome the initial hesitation and pen down their imaginative narratives.

The competition promises an exciting opportunity for participants, as the best 51 stories will be compiled into an anthology, set to be released on November 14th. This endeavor by Keekli Charitable Trust seeks to provide a platform for emerging talents to showcase their creativity and literary prowess.

To further support and nurture the participants, the Trust will organize creative writing workshops and webinars conducted by esteemed members of the jury. These sessions are designed to enhance the writing skills of young authors, offering them valuable insights and guidance.

The announcement of this literary event on New Year’s Day adds an auspicious touch, symbolizing new beginnings and creative possibilities. Aspiring writers are encouraged to refer to the attached flyer for detailed information about the competition, submission guidelines, and key dates.
