Solan, April 24, 2026: The Student Services Centre at Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT), in collaboration with YourDOST, successfully organised a webinar on “Managing Anxiety, Worry, and Stress” on Thursday at 2:00 PM. Mr. Athul Raj was the resource person for the programme.
The webinar aimed to equip students with practical strategies to navigate the growing academic and personal pressures encountered in university life. Mr. Raj addressed common mental health concerns among students, offering actionable insights on stress management techniques, and building resilience in challenging situations.
The session witnessed enthusiastic participation, with students attending from multiple venues, including DLC, LT2, and LT3, where the webinar was broadcast to ensure wider accessibility and a comfortable viewing experience.
A dedicated Q&A segment formed a key part of the programme, allowing students to raise specific concerns and seek guidance on issues ranging from academic burnout to personal well-being. The interactive nature of the session encouraged open dialogue and helped normalise conversations around mental health on campus.
The initiative reflects JUIT’s continued commitment to supporting student well-being and fostering a healthy academic environment through collaborations with professional counselling platforms like YourDOST.
The organisers noted that such programmes will continue to be an integral part of campus life, addressing the evolving needs of students in an increasingly demanding educational landscape.
