JUIT Marks World Earth Day with Tree Plantation Drive

Solan, April 22, 2026: The Environment, Ecology and Health Club of JYC, JUIT organized a tree plantation drive on the occasion of World Earth Day at 11:00 am on campus.
The initiative was coordinated by faculty members Prof. Poonam Sharma, Dr. Ashok Kumar Nadda, and Dr. Rishi Rana, along with student coordinators Aditya and Aryan. Around 50 students actively participated in the drive, planting saplings and spreading awareness about the importance of environmental conservation.
The activity aimed to instill a sense of responsibility towards protecting nature and promoting sustainable practices among students.
