Jairam Thakur Questions State Government’s Intent in Vimal Negi Case

Shimla, June 1, 2025: Former Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur has once again accused the state government of shielding the accused in the Vimal Negi case. Addressing a press conference, Thakur alleged that a suspended SP filed an LPA challenging the High Court’s CBI probe order without government approval, raising serious questions on his conduct and the CM’s silence. He also accused the government of suppressing evidence in the Pekhuwala solar plant and Kala Amb illegal liquor cases, and criticised the CM for making objectionable remarks against the judiciary.
