Jairam Demands Justice in Dharampur Driver Suicide Case

He questioned the administration’s claims of normalcy and progress, highlighting widespread chaos and mismanagement in the state.
Jairam criticized delays in payments, stalled development projects, and shortages in the health sector, including life-saving drugs and delayed surgeries. He pointed out the plight of contractors owed over ₹1,000 crore and the suffering of pensioners waiting for their dues. Thakur also raised concerns about alleged mismanagement in the Jal Shakti Department and the increasing influence of the “mafia,” leaving even senior leaders powerless.
Referring to the tragic suicide of an HRTC driver in Dharampur depot, Jairam expressed grief and demanded an impartial probe into the incident. The driver, before his death, alleged harassment by the management in a viral video. Thakur called for justice and immediate action to address the accusations.
