IPR Awareness Day Marked with Online Lecture at Gautam College of Pharmacy

Hamirpur, April 26, 2026: Gautam College of Pharmacy, Hamirpur, organised an online guest lecture on the occasion of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Awareness Day, focusing on the theme “Innovation, Protection and Empowerment through IPR.”

The session featured Dr. Suraj P. Rajurkar as the keynote speaker, who elaborated on the significance of intellectual property rights, including patents, copyrights, and trademarks, particularly in the field of pharmacy. He encouraged students to safeguard their innovations and understand the role of IPR in research and industrial development.

The programme was attended by Director-cum-Principal Dr. Sanjay Kumar, IQAC Incharge Dr. Darsh Gautam, Managing Director Jagdish Gautam, and Secretary Dr. Rajnish Gautam, who appreciated the initiative and motivated students to actively engage in innovation and research.

Students from B.Pharm and D.Pharm courses participated enthusiastically, and an interactive question-and-answer session added value to the lecture. The event concluded with a vote of thanks, leaving students informed and inspired about the importance of IPR.
