Waknaghat, May 12 — Jaypee University of Information Technology came alive with energy and innovation during the flagship event ‘Innovate to Excel – 2025’ held on May 3. Organized by the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) in association with ACM, IEEE, TIEDC, SIAM, CSA, and others, the event showcased cutting-edge technological prowess, entrepreneurial spirit, and creative expression among over 50 student participants from various universities across North India.
Key highlights included the intense 24-hour hackathon *Hacking Hills*, the engineering hardware challenge *Hard-Wired*, and a civil tower-building contest. The event was inaugurated with a keynote by Dr. Surender Singh Saini, Senior Principal Scientist at ISTC-CSIO, who emphasized the power of global research synergy and youth-led innovation. The event also featured a photography competition *Lenscape* and *The Boardroom*, where budding entrepreneurs pitched ideas to a live panel of startup experts including Mr. Ekant Aggarwal and Mr. Anmol Jamwal.
A vibrant panel discussion explored themes of startup building and venture funding, offering students real-world insights. As the night fell, hackathon teams continued their mission to transform ideas into impactful prototypes, underlining the university’s commitment to fostering future-ready talent and innovation culture.
