IEC University Holds Dental Health Awareness Lecture
Baddi, October 13: IEC University, Baddi, organised a special lecture on dental health and oral hygiene on October 10 to raise awareness among students about maintaining healthy teeth and gums.
Dr Meenu Aggarwal, a dental surgeon from Government Dental College, Patiala, addressed students and faculty members, highlighting the importance of oral health as part of overall well-being. The programme was held under the guidance of Vice-Chancellor Dr Ashok Puri and Registrar Dr Prahlad Gupta.
Dr Aggarwal advised students to brush properly every day, practise flossing and undergo regular dental check-ups. She also explained how excessive consumption of sugary foods can harm teeth and stressed the importance of a balanced diet, timely treatment and not ignoring early signs of dental problems.
The interactive session allowed students to ask questions about oral hygiene, gum care and the prevention of dental diseases. The university thanked Dr Aggarwal for sharing her knowledge and practical advice.
