IEC School of Law Students Explore Historical Significance of Rashtrapati Niwas

Baddi, October 8: Students of the School of Law at IEC University, Baddi, visited the President’s summer residence at Mashobra, Shimla, as part of an educational tour to explore the site’s historical significance, architecture and institutional heritage.

The visit aimed to complement classroom learning with practical exposure and deepen students’ understanding of India’s historical legacy and constitutional institutions. Located amid Mashobra’s natural surroundings, the historic estate offered students an opportunity to learn beyond the academic environment.

IEC University Vice-Chancellor Dr Ashok Puri and Registrar Dr Prahlad appreciated the initiative, noting that educational visits broaden students’ perspectives, enrich their knowledge and contribute to their overall development.

Organised by the IEC School of Law, the tour was part of the university’s efforts to promote practical learning, social awareness and respect for the country’s historical heritage.
