HRTC Bus Kills one In Accident

Shimla April 07 – A tourist woman who had come to visit Shimla from Faridabad died tragically in a road accident that took place near Shoghi on Kalka-Shimla highway on Thursday evening. The woman was badly injured after being hit by an HRTC Volvo bus and died before reaching the hospital.

The police have registered a case and taken the bus driver into custody. The deceased woman has been identified as Geeta (40), a resident of Faridabad. SP Sanjeev Gandhi has confirmed the accident. He said that the post-mortem of the dead body is being conducted. Action is being taken regarding this incident by registering a case under sections 279, 337 and 304A of IPC in Police Station Baluganj.
