HPUTWA’s Demands Addressed by University Administration

In a press release by the Himachal Pradesh University Teachers’ Welfare Association (HPUTWA), it was announced that a committee has been formed under the leadership of Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor to address the association’s demands. The committee includes the Dean of Studies, Controller of Examinations, Finance Officer, and Presidents of HPUTWA and HPUTA as members. Key demands such as increasing the exam duty remuneration from ₹250 to ₹500, enhancing the financial authority of department chairpersons from ₹500 to ₹50,000, conducting bi-annual meetings for faculty housing allocation, and bi-annual meetings for CAS promotions have been approved by the Registrar’s office. Additionally, new faculty housing projects, funded by PMO Usha, are under estimation and will be initiated soon. HPUTWA President Dr. Nitin Vyas and General Secretary Dr. Ankush Bhardwaj expressed gratitude to Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sat Prakash Bansal and Pro-Vice-Chancellor Prof. Rajendra Verma for their positive approach to the faculty’s demands.
