HPU Regional Centre Mohli-Dharamshala Holds Student Council Oath-Taking Ceremony

Dharamshala, September 26: The Himachal Pradesh University Regional Centre, Mohli-Dharamshala, organised the oath-taking ceremony of its Central Students’ Council for the 2026-27 academic session.

Regional Centre Director Prof. Kuldeep Atri was the chief guest, while former Regional Centre Director Prof. D.P. Verma attended as the special guest.

Kritika Kaul, MBA third semester, was nominated as president; Skriti Sharma, MCA third semester, as vice-president; Aman Kumar, PGDCA first semester, as secretary; and Khushi Kumari, History first semester, as joint secretary, on the basis of academic excellence. A total of 28 council members took the oath. Prof. Atri administered the oath to the office-bearers, while Prof. Verma administered the oath to the other nominated members.

Addressing the students, the guests highlighted the role of student councils in educational institutions and assured students that the administration remained committed to addressing their academic and administrative concerns. They congratulated the newly constituted council and wished its members success.

Council President Kritika Kaul also addressed the gathering, while council member Tavisha proposed the vote of thanks.

Following the ceremony, a formal meeting of the Central Students’ Council was held under the chairmanship of Prof. Atri. Faculty members, non-teaching staff and around 200 students attended the programme.
