HPNLU, Shimla organizes Industry Expert Lecture

The Placement Assistance Cell (PAC), Himachal Pradesh National Law University, Shimla organized an Industry-Expert lecture for the undergraduate students of the University at the University Campus. The lecture was delivered by Suadat Ahmad Kirmani partner IndusLaw, Banglore. The lecture was delivered to more than 250 undergraduate students in both sessions, especially those studying in third, fourth and fifth year.
The event encompassed two sessions, the first of which saw Mr. Kirmani laying open before the audience the practical realities and options of a career after law school in the fields of dispute resolution, mediation and arbitration. The second half fulfilled the purpose of satisfying the daunting concerns of students of law relating to their life after law school, in which Mr. Kirmani traced his trajectory from being a student of law, to one of the leading practitioners in his field by highlighting key experiences from his practice of 12 years.
The first session was on Carriers on Dispute resolution while the second session traced the experiences of Mr. Kirmani. The students displayed keen interest and active engagement throughout the session, eagerly absorbing insights and participating in discussions. They found the lecture to be a valuable learning experience, appreciating the practical knowledge and real-world perspectives shared by the industry expert and viewed the lecture positively, recognizing its significance in augmenting their understanding of legal concepts and potential career pathways. The event was organized by the Dr. Praveen Kumar, Chairperson, Placement Assistance Cell, HPNLU, Shimla.
