Himachal Pradesh’s Vidya Samiksha Kendra (VSK) 6A Framework received national recognition at the National e-Governance Conference held in Jaipur, Rajasthan, for its innovative approach to digital governance in school education. Organised by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances, Government of India, the conference featured a presentation by Samagra Shiksha Himachal Pradesh Director Rajesh Sharma, who was specially invited to showcase the state’s education governance model.
During the plenary session on “Digital Interventions to Enhance Access and Quality of School Education,” Sharma highlighted the evolution of the VSK and its 6A Framework, which integrates Attendance, Assessments, Adaptive Learning, Administration, Accreditation and Artificial Intelligence. He also presented the state’s Personalised Adaptive Learning (PAL) initiative and the offline Learning Enhancement Programme (LEP), designed to improve learning outcomes through targeted interventions, particularly in areas with limited internet connectivity. The conference commended Himachal Pradesh for transforming the VSK into a comprehensive governance platform that supports data-driven decision-making and strengthens education administration beyond conventional monitoring systems.
