Thousands of job-seeking youth in Himachal Pradesh are hopeful for employment opportunities in the new year as the state government moves to resolve recruitment delays caused by past paper leak cases. Results for most exams have been declared, with decisions pending on five remaining examinations.
The recruitment process for 1,423 posts across 80 postcodes, including JBT, JOA, and IT roles, is expected to advance. The state government is also considering providing a two-year age relaxation for eligible candidates from dissolved recruitments. A proposal regarding this has been sent to the government.
Meanwhile, the State Selection Commission is preparing to finalize an agency for computer-based tests (CBTs) to streamline future recruitment processes.
