Himachal to Recruit Private Surveyors for Digital Crop Survey Under Agristack Project

Nahan, November 15: The Agriculture Department of Himachal Pradesh is set to begin a Digital Crop Survey under the Agristack initiative, for which private surveyors will be recruited across the state. This digital survey will collect crop-sowing information from every revenue village using mobile-based technology.
Rajkumar, Deputy Director of Agriculture, Sirmaur, informed that online applications are now open for interested candidates in the district. Applicants must be 18 years or older, possess an Aadhaar card and a bank account, and be familiar with using mobile apps. Knowledge of the local geography and agricultural practices is essential.
Eligible applicants include ATMs, BTMs, supervisors, agriculture extension officers, unemployed agriculture/horticulture/forestry graduates, Krishi/ Pashu Sakhis, SHG members, patwaris, and panchayat representatives. Surveyors will receive incentive-based payments for each completed survey as per departmental norms.
