Himachal Horror: 18-Year-Old Girl Raped in Chamba, Video Leaked

A shocking incident has surfaced from Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh where an 18-year-old college girl was allegedly raped by a youth while another filmed the crime. The video was later circulated on social media. The crime took place on July 6 when the girl was returning home from college and was accosted by two men, Deepak (21) and Chaman (27). Deepak allegedly committed the act while Chaman recorded it. The girl, traumatized and fearful, initially kept quiet. However, after the video went viral, her family approached the police. Based on her mother’s complaint, both accused were arrested promptly. The victim’s statement was recorded under BNS Section 183 and a medical examination was conducted.
