Himachal Govt Imposes Complete Ban on Employee Transfers from July 1

The Himachal Pradesh Government has announced a complete ban on transfers of government employees effective from **July 1, 2025**. As per the latest directive, only transfer proposals falling under specific conditions outlined in Para 8 of the Comprehensive Guiding Principles, 2013, and approved by the Hon’ble Chief Minister will be considered. Departments have been instructed to strictly comply and inform all concerned authorities accordingly.
