Himachal Govt Cancels Transfer of IAS Officer Abhishek Kumar Garg

Shimla, July 18, 2026: The Himachal Pradesh Government has cancelled the transfer of IAS officer Abhishek Kumar Garg (HP:2020) with immediate effect in the public interest. Garg, who is serving as Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development)-cum-Project Director (DRDA), Hamirpur, was earlier transferred as Managing Director of the Himachal Pradesh State Industrial Development Corporation (HPSIDC). The cancellation order withdraws the transfer notification issued on July 10, 2026.
