Himachal Government Announces Administrative Reshuffle

Six HAS Officers Transferred
Shimla, Jan 28, 2026: The Himachal Pradesh government on Wednesday issued orders for a major administrative reshuffle, transferring and posting six HAS officers. The notification was released by Chief Secretary Sanjay Gupta.
As per the orders, 2017 batch HAS officer Raman Gharsangi has been appointed Additional Director at Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Chamba. He will also hold additional charge of AC to DC Chamba during the leave period of Aparajita Chandel.
Vikas Jamwal has been posted as Regional Transport Officer (RTO) Kangra.
2022 batch HAS officer Keshav Ram has been directed to report to the Himachal Pradesh Secretariat.
HAS officer Ramesh Verma has been appointed Joint Commissioner of Palampur Municipal Corporation, while HAS officer and AC to DC Kinnaur Om Prakash Yadav has been posted as Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Palampur.
IAS officer Meeta Nethra has been relieved of the additional charge of Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Palampur. Meanwhile, Kalyani Gupta has been appointed General Manager (Administration/Project) Smart City Shimla.
