The Himachal Pradesh Private Educational Regulatory Commission (HPPERC) is organising a conclave on “Higher Education Leaders’ Conclave- Learning and Future of Jobs” on May 7, 2022.
Himachal Pradesh Governor Mr Rajendra Arlekar is expected to be the chief guest at the conclave. Education Minister, Sh. Govind Singh Thakur and Industries Minister Sh. Vikram Singh will be Guest of Honour. Vice–Chancellors, Deans, Principals and Heads of the Higher Educational Institutions form all across the state of Himachal Pradesh will attend the conclave and exchange ideas on the future or higher education in the new environment.
The focus of the conclave will be on the issues such as impact of technology on Jobs, Climate Change and future of Job, Learning and New Pedagogy and Alternate Thinking. Renowned speakers from different fields have been invited to share their insights and knowledge on the selected aspects of the conclave.
Chairman of the HP-PERC Maj. Gen. Atul Kaushik would set the agenda of the day’s proceeding.
This would be followed by keynote addresses on topics including “impact of Technology on jobs”, “Climate Change and the changing jobs scenario”, “Learning and new pedagogy” and “Alternate thinking”.
Subsequently a panel discussion would be held on all the topics followed by felicitation of keynote speakers and a Vote of Thanks.
