Health check-up and blood donation camp organised on Ayurveda Day

Hamirpur, September 23: On the occasion of the 11th Ayurveda Day, a multi-specialty health check-up camp and blood donation camp was organised at the District Ayurvedic Hospital, Hamirpur on Wednesday.
Gandharva Rathore, Deputy Commissioner and Chairperson of the Patient Welfare Committee of the District Ayurvedic Hospital, inaugurated the camp with the lighting of lamps, worship of Dhanvantari, and a havan. Congratulating all Ayurvedic doctors on this occasion, Gandharva Rathore said that India’s ancient Ayurvedic system of medicine should be widely promoted so that more and more people can benefit from it.
During the camp, experts from the Ayurveda Department performed treatments with Agnikarma, Vidvakarma, Jalokakarma, Shirodhara, Nadi Sweda, Greeva Vasti, Janu Vasti, cupping, and other procedures. Free tests were also conducted and a blood donation camp was organized.
Earlier, Medical Superintendent of District Ayurvedic Hospital, Dr. Vanita Sharma welcomed the Deputy Commissioner and other guests and gave detailed information about the Ayurvedic system of medicine.
