Gurmeet Kaur Appointed as Special Secretary (Law)

In a significant decision, the Governor of Himachal Pradesh has ordered the posting of Gurmeet Kaur, HPJS, as Special Secretary (Law) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla.

Gurmeet Kaur, who previously served as Additional District and Sessions Judge, Fast Track Special Court (Rape & POCSO) in Sirmaur District at Nahan, has been assigned her new role with immediate effect. She has the option to choose allowances and benefits either as an officer of the H.P. Judicial Service or under the State Government, starting from her joining date in the H.P. Secretariat, Shimla.
