Free LPG Connections to Eligible Families Under PM Ujjwala Yojana 3.0

Chamba, February 20: Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Repswal announced that eligible women beneficiaries in the district will receive free LPG gas connections under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) 3.0, aimed at promoting clean cooking fuel among economically weaker households. Under the scheme, beneficiaries will be provided an LPG connection worth up to ₹2,050 at no cost.

He stated that only those families with no existing LPG connection and a monthly income below ₹10,000 will be eligible. Applicants must submit required documents including KYC form, identity and address proof, ration card, Aadhaar details of all family members, bank account information, and a declaration form.

Eligible women can apply through official online portals, Common Service Centres, enrolment camps, help desks, or nearby LPG distributors. District authorities urged beneficiaries to avail the scheme to ensure better health, environmental safety, and improved living conditions.
