Focus on Strengthening Healthcare Services in Chamba Under Aspirational District Programme
Chamba, September 18, 2026: Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Repaswal chaired a meeting with officials of the Health and Planning Departments to review efforts to strengthen healthcare services in the district under the Aspirational District Programme.
The meeting discussed procurement of modern medical equipment, expansion of essential facilities and measures to improve the quality of healthcare services at various health institutions.
The DC directed officials to complete all necessary formalities for the proposed works, including procurement of modern equipment, at the earliest to ensure timely implementation and early benefits for the public.
He also stressed better coordination among departments to further improve healthcare delivery in the district.
