Five HP cricketers shortlisted for women IPL
2 min readHamirpur, Feb 9 – Five women cricketers from Himachal will be seen playing in the first women’s IPL league. For this first-ever tournament, there will be an auction of players in Mumbai on February 13.
The shortlisted players include Harleen Deol, Sushma Verma, Renuka Thakur, Vasuvi Festa, and Chitra Jamwal.
Notably, fast bowler Renuka Thakur, a resident of Shimla, registered on behalf of the Railways. Harleen Deol from HPCA has been registered with a base price of Rs 40 lakh. Harleen is currently a part of the Indian team. Sushma Verma registered for a base price of Rs 30 lakh. He is also part of the team.
