ESIC Pension Becomes Lifeline for Outsourced Worker’s Family After Tragic Death

Hamirpur | July 26, 2026: The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has extended dependent pension benefits to the family of an outsourced worker who died following a road accident, highlighting the importance of timely ESIC registration. ESIC Hamirpur Branch Manager Amit Kumar said registration before or on the first day of employment is mandatory under the Social Security Code, 2020, enabling workers and their families to receive benefits such as medical care, maternity assistance, disability support and dependent pensions.
