Ensuring Quality Education for Every Child is the Priority of the State Government – Sanjay Awasthi

Arki (Solan), 13 December 2024: Arki MLA Sanjay Awasthi emphasized that providing quality education to every child is a key priority for the state government. He addressed the Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony of PM Shree Shaheed Captain Vijayant Thapar Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Arki, highlighting the importance of education in shaping a strong foundation for an individual’s life.
He acknowledged the critical role of teachers and parents in strengthening the foundation of students and stressed the value of education and moral values in preparing students to face life’s challenges.
Awasthi lauded the Dr. Yashwant Singh Parmar Vidyarthi Loan Scheme, launched by the state government to support meritorious students from economically weaker sections. The scheme provides loans at a 1% interest rate for professional and technical education, with a maximum limit of ₹20 lakh.
The MLA assured financial assistance for the school building’s construction and announced a grant of ₹2,100 for students who performed in cultural programs and ₹21,000 for the organizing committee.
The event was graced by Tripta Thapar, mother of Shaheed Captain Vijayant Thapar, as the guest of honor. She extended her best wishes to the students for their bright future.
Sanjay Awasthi awarded meritorious students and expressed hope that their achievements would inspire others. He also addressed public grievances and directed relevant departments for prompt resolutions.
The school principal, Vimla Verma, presented the annual report and welcomed the dignitaries.
