Shimla May 05
In a move to boost rural self-employment, the Cluster Level Federation (CLF) Khushala in Shimla is producing eco-friendly items from jute and pine needles. The group, with over 1000 women from 110 SHGs under Tutu Block, met DC Anupam Kashyap, who praised their efforts and advised using rope from the *Banar* tree for bag handles. The district administration will provide training to improve product quality, packaging, and marketing techniques. Items like laptop bags, lunch bags, and pine-needle decor products are already in production.
