District Consumer Commissions to Dispose of 2018 Records of Mandi, Kullu and Lahaul-Spiti
Public and Concerned Parties Advised to Obtain Required Documents Within 30 Days
Kullu, August 18, 2026: The District Consumer Commission, Mandi has announced that the old records of cases decided during the year 2018 by the District Consumer Commissions of Mandi, Kullu and Lahaul-Spiti will be removed and disposed of as part of the prescribed record-management process.
According to information provided by the President of the District Consumer Commission, Mandi, the process will cover records relating to decided cases, execution petitions and miscellaneous applications pertaining to the period from January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2018.
The Commission has advised members of the public and all concerned parties who require copies of orders, original documents or any other records related to their 2018 cases to submit an application for obtaining the required documents.
Applicants must submit their request within 30 days from the date of issue of the notice and deposit the prescribed fee applicable for obtaining the records.
The Commission has clarified that once the stipulated 30-day period expires, the office will not be responsible for preserving or retaining the old records covered under the notice.
Members of the public and concerned parties who may require any documents from the specified period have therefore been advised to take necessary action within the prescribed timeframe.
