DIC Revamping Workshop Held at Shoghi to Strengthen MSME Scheme Implementation

Shimla, May 6: A DIC Revamping Workshop was successfully conducted at the Business Promotion Centre, Shoghi, on May 6 for officials from District Industries Centres (DICs) of Shimla, Sirmaur, Solan and Kinnaur districts.
The workshop was attended by Sanjay Kanwar, General Manager, DIC Shimla, and Rachit Sharma, General Manager, DIC Sirmaur, along with other officials representing various DICs. The session also witnessed the participation of Gopi Nammi, Assistant General Manager, Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI).
The workshop focused on important government schemes including RAMP, MSE-CDP, GIFT-SPICE and PMEGP, with the objective of enhancing institutional understanding and ensuring effective implementation of these programmes at the district level.
Discussions during the session centred on strengthening MSME support mechanisms, improving coordination among district-level institutions and promoting entrepreneurship through better awareness and execution of government initiatives.
A total of 45 participants attended the workshop, making it an interactive and impactful capacity-building initiative for officials associated with industrial development and enterprise promotion in the region.
