Deputy Commissioner Reviews NH-154A Preparedness for Shri Manimahesh Yatra

Chamba Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Repswal inspected National Highway-154A to review road restoration and safety measures ahead of the annual Shri Manimahesh Yatra. During the visit, he directed NHAI officials to expedite repair works, clear vulnerable stretches and complete all critical preparations before the pilgrimage begins to ensure safe and uninterrupted travel.

NHAI has identified 60 landslide-prone locations between Chamba and Bharmour and deployed heavy machinery at strategic points for rapid road clearance. Sensitive stretches will also have round-the-clock machinery, flagmen and barricading to enhance pilgrim safety during the yatra.
