DC Anupam Kashyap Reviews Development Works in Taklech Panchayat via Video Conference

Shimla, July 31, 2025 – Deputy Commissioner Shimla, Anupam Kashyap, conducted a comprehensive review of ongoing development works in Taklech Gram Panchayat, Rampur Sub-Division, through video conferencing. During the session, he directly interacted with field officials including the SDM Rampur, Tehsildar Taklech, BDO, Patwaris, and Panchayat representatives.

Emphasizing the importance of an active field mechanism for holistic development, the DC directed officials to maintain proper records and ensure that government schemes reach all eligible beneficiaries. He reviewed progress on MGNREGA, CM Housing Scheme, renovation of water sources, and disaster damage reports.

He stressed that lack of grassroots information among officials often affects public services and urged all staff to remain vigilant and well-informed, especially as Taklech is a disaster-prone area. Coordination among departments was emphasized to ensure effective and timely implementation of development schemes.
