DC and SP Review Preparations for Republic Day Celebration in Shimla

Shimla, January 22 –
Deputy Commissioner Shimla Anupam Kashyap and Superintendent of Police Sanjeev Kumar Gandhi inspected the preparations for the state-level Republic Day celebrations at the historic Ridge Maidan today. The event is scheduled to commence at 11 AM on January 26, featuring a grand parade, informative departmental tableaux, and vibrant cultural performances.
The officials directed all departments to ensure timely completion of arrangements for the successful execution of the program. They conducted detailed discussions with the authorities at the venue and interacted with parade participants to boost their morale.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Verma, Additional District Magistrate Jyoti Rana, Assistant Commissioner Gopal Chand Sharma, DSP Amit Thakur, DSP Vikram Chauhan, District Language Officer Anil Harta, and other officials were also present during the review.
