DC and SP Inspect Apple Control Room in Fagu

Shimla: Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap and Superintendent of Police Sanjeev Kumar Gandhi inspected the Fagu Apple Control Room in preparation for the upcoming apple season. The inspection aimed to ensure all necessary arrangements and facilities for the staff on duty.

The apple season starts on Monday, and Kashyap emphasized the need for complete and efficient arrangements. He announced that control rooms have been established in Fagu and Balg, where employees from the horticulture, revenue, and police departments will be on duty 24/7.

Kashyap instructed the officials to ensure that basic amenities are provided for the staff working in the control rooms to avoid any inconvenience. He also mentioned that GPS-fitted vehicles transporting apples to the markets will be registered at the control rooms, with all details uploaded to the Himseva app before the vehicles proceed to their destinations.

SP Sanjeev Kumar Gandhi directed that proper barricading be installed outside the control rooms to prevent any traffic disruptions caused by large vehicles.
