Cricket Finals Mark Grand Finale of 7-Day NSS Camp at LRB Ed. Institute, Solan

The final day of the 7-day NSS Special Camp at LRB B.Ed. Institute, Solan began with the theme “Play Sports, Say No to Drugs,” led by NSS Coordinator Megha Thakur. A spirited cricket competition held at Police Ground aimed to promote fitness, team spirit, and drug-free youth.
In the girls’ match, second-year student Anshika’s team set a target of 104 runs. First-year student Eenanshi’s team was bowled out for 40, securing the win for Anshika’s side. Neha was declared Player of the Match.
The boys’ final saw Nitin’s first-year team post 80 runs, but Prasoon’s team chased the target with four balls to spare. Rubal Diwan was named Man of the Match.
Principal Dr. Nisha highlighted the value of sports in building confidence, discipline, and leadership.
Throughout the week, volunteers actively participated in a wide array of activities including self-defense training, anti-drug awareness, cleanliness drives, cyber safety awareness, literary and cultural competitions, workshops on the National Digital Library, and talent transformation sessions.
